As part of our Vacation Smart International Review we did our research on this membership and really did not find anything that wasn’t good. From what we can tell, it appears that  the most common theme we were finding was for $7,995 up front and a small annual fee you will get access to their registry of resorts or condos/hotel properties.

We then as part of our Vacation Smart International review, took a look at their website. It  is very clean and easy to view and navigate. One thing that we didn’t like was we did not see a secure order page on our own,  right on the website. The only way to make a move here to join (I guess) is through making a telephone call, which we did right away.

Vacation Smart International Review

I’m kind of a “techy typy” person and feel that the main purpose of having a website is to in most  cases take care of the sale for you so you don’t need to make the phone call. It seemed a little different for a company that claims to allow you to organize your own vacation type  trips without the need for a travel agent to not even have a “Join Now” or order button or some way on their own sales site to sign up.A lot of people prefer to not have to make calls. On the other hand, many people hate having to do everything on a website and would prefer to deal only with a live person. I guess to spend $7995 it may be best to speak to a live person 1st.

Back to our vacation Smart International Review:  We found that for about $7,995 you get access to 4 weeks of vacation per year, along with a small annual fee of about $200 – $300.Here’s the membership cost breakdown that we were able to discover:

Purchase Price: $7,995
Apr. Annual Costs: $258.50
Weeks Allowed Per Year: 4
Folks, there are better deals out there. I do like the access to booking cruises as claimed through Vacation Smart International sites, but seems like cruises are a dime a dozen these days.

My in-laws just cruised for 7 days, including food (they aren’t big drinkers)  for around $1,650.00 and they didn’t even really shop it much.

  1. Thanks for this detailed review of Vacation Smart International, it was very helpful for me. I just signed up with them and found it very easy to plan my new vacation, smartly! I just called the service and told them what I wanted and they gave me options, I ended up going with one of their suggestions because it was such a bargain and the same type of vacation I wanted, beach tropical location. Have already recommended this membership to my friends and family!

  2. Glad to hear you had a good result and thanks for your helpful post! Stan

  3. Interesting that I found this exact same review (word for word) on a completely different site.

It is hard to tell if this is a legitimate review or if vacation smart is trying to get positive reviews out there. The overwhelming majority of reviews of this company are horrible. My parents just signed up and I’m trying to find some honest research before there cancellation time is up.

  4. The vacationreviewz site is a very good friend of ours hence the similarity. Our main recommendation is GRN which is referenced there. We are affiliates and owners of our own GRN lifetime membership so we use what we promote. It would take a lot of marketing effort for anyone to try to get “positive” reviews “out there”. The internet is very large to make such a dent in peoples thinking. Reviews in general online are difficult to know what to trust. It’s best to contact the company directly, try to get other users names to contact, then make your best educated decision rather than trust what you read online. Similar to how you might buy a car; what recommendations do you go by? How do you select the make, model and sales rep?

  5. They are scam artist. VSI will take your money and give you a piece of paper that is worthless. Cost me almost 7300.00 dollars and they want an annual fee. I get better deals on hotels.com
It is hard to use their services and you question them they are rude. The mgrs Rose, Kyle ect. will not return your calls or money. Don’t give them your money !
